Uncle Pete's wins at the 2007 Scovie Awards
Results of the 2007 Scovie Awards, which recognizes top fiery foods products from around the globe, are in and Uncle Pete's BBQ of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina was selected as a winner in one of the world's most competitive gourmet food competitions. Uncle Pete's BBQ, which manufactures three flavors of Barbeque Sauce, received 3rd Place in the 2007 Scovie Award(s). In the industry's most rigorous blind tastings, a panel of the country's top culinary experts sampled hundreds of the world's most lauded gourmet foods, and the top scoring products each won a coveted Scovie banner.

Uncle Pete's wins big in the 2006 Fiery Food Challenge
Uncle Pete's BBQ is proud to announce that their Uncle Pete's Hickory BBQ Sauce was a winner in the Smoked Barbecue Sauce category of Chile Pepper Magazine's 2006/2007 Fiery Food Challenge. The winners of this contest were announced at ZestFest 2006 which was held in Fort Worth, Texas, in September. Click here to learn more
Uncle Pete's Original BBQ Sauce has helped the "Hog Heaven" team win the Popular Vote for Best BBQ the last three years at the Annual Kiwanis Club BBQ and Rib Burnoff on Hilton Head Island! In 2005, "Hog Heaven" swept the Popular Vote Category, winning both the Ribs and BBQ categories.
The Kiwanis Club Barbecue and Rib Burnoff is a great event held on in May on Hilton Head Island. The event benefits multiple organizations on the Island and always has a terrific turnout.
